Puerto Rico's most famous men

Puerto Rico, officially the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, is one of the unincorporated territories of the United States and one of the two free states associated with self-governing status of the United States of America. It is located in America, in the northeast of the Caribbean, east of the island of Hispaniola and west of the United States Virgin Islands. The archipelago of Puerto Rico includes the main island of Puerto Rico, the smallest of the Greater Antilles, and a number of smaller keys and islands; of which the largest are Vieques, Mona and Culebra. It is an island with a tropical climate and, despite its size, it has a diversity of ecosystems: dry and rainy forests, karst area, 2 mountainous areas, coastal and marine ecosystems, lakes, etc.


Puerto Rico as we see is a very famous place for its beaches and very beautiful places but in the same way it is the origin of several famous people and especially singers, in this small blog we want to show you some of the people who have been successful in life and they are of Puerto Rican origin.

Enrique Martín Morales better known as Ricky Martin, is a Puerto Rican singer, songwriter, actor, author, record producer and humanitarian who is known as the "King of Latin Pop" and the "Latin Music King".

Bad Bunny

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio (born March 10, 1994), also known by the name Bad Bunny, is a Puerto Rican rapper.  His music belongs to the  Latin trap and reggaeton, but he has also incorporated various other genres into his music, including rock, bachata, and soul.

Rita Moreno

Rita Moreno, in full Rosita Dolores Alverio, (born December 11, 1931, Humacao, Puerto Rico), Puerto Rican-born American actress, dancer, and singer who accomplished the rare feat of winning the four major North American entertainment awards (EGOT): Emmy (1977, 1978), Grammy (1972), Oscar (1962), and Tony (1975). She was also the first Hispanic woman to receive an Oscar (Academy Award).


Olga Tañón

Olga Teresa Tañón Ortíz (born April 13, 1967) is a Puerto Rican recording artist. Over the course of her career, she has earned two Grammy Awards, three Latin Grammy Awards, and 29 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards.


Adamari López


Adamari López Torres (born May 18, 1971) is a Puerto Rican actress known for participating in several Puerto Rican and Mexican soap operas. She is currently a host on the Telemundo morning show Un Nuevo Día and is a Latina ambassador for WW, formerly Weight Watchers.
